Hey guys - just wanted to let you guys know that we're booked for a dinner at Arooga's 11 on Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg.
I spoke with Tina - one of their general managers. We have a "box area" reserved near the bar (but not AT the bar) for Saturday night. I told her we'd be between 20 and 25 strong (we have ~34 people on the signup list but I know not everyone comes to dinner.)
Now, we had passed on the idea of having a buffet or something specifically catered because the signup list wasn't very big. That list has grown quickly, but it's far too late now to organize something like this, so we're going to have to order off the menu. HOWEVER, they're a MUCH bigger, faster-paced restaurant than the ones we've visited in the past, and she assured me that handling a large crowd off-menu was no issue. Also, we can decide once we get there if we want to do separate checks by family/couple or one big check. (In the past I've paid the bill and then taken cash for dinner, though I'm not 100% sure that'll be an option this year.)
Anyways, if there are questions/problems, let me know. As far as directions, either jot this down for your GPS, or chat with me at the show; I'll tell you the best way to get there. It's VERY easy - just further down route 11 from the "Your Place Restaurant" we've eaten at for the past few years.
