Rear Sway Bar Stresses

How much stress is placed on the rear frame rails from the end links being bolted to rail from a rear sway bar vs. the stock style set with the end links mounted to axle?  I have read a few posts that they have actually ripped or torn the rails. I am thinking that stock style mounted sway bar would be less stressful to the vehicle.   I am correct in my thinking that all the stresses of the sway bar are transfer though the end links.  Are there any performance advantages with either mounting style or is a "sway bar" a "sway bar".

No doubt, the original style is more kind to the frame rails. The Hotchkis sway bar mimics the originals.

The axle mount style.adds to unsprung weight which is detrimental to getting the best handling. I. Don't know the actual stress on the frame of the axle mount type, but mine pulled the mount through the frame. I welded up the tear and added material and have had no issues since. Factory style Imo is better.

Examples of unsprung weight are components of the car that are not held up by the suspension. Rear axle, wheels, tires, anything mounted on the axle, that kind of thing. Sprung weight can be tailored to work with the springs, shocks, etc. Unsprung can't. It's like dead weight to the suspension/handling equation.

sprung weight is anything carried by the chassis , , unsprung weight is tires axles etc so by attaching the sway bar to the axle the axle becomes heavier , a car will generally handle better with less unsprung weight so lighter wheels independent suspension rear axles where the gears are mounted to the frame & have driveshafts out to the wheels , even inboard mounted brakes all increase handling
