Anyone Into trucks, Check out what I might buy...

Found a nice 1961 Chevy Step side small window short bed. Rebuilt 355,4sd,10 botl 373 posi. 4linked with a nice fat tire out back. Runs and drives,needs to be tuned up. Drum brakes and needs front cab supports. What do you guys think its worth?

Nice drive train, please save it from that hidious truck and drop it into an old nova, chevelle , camaro or even a vega.
I love full on race vegas.
Realy though, I don't think much of that truck style - but I'd say 2,500 to 3,500 depending on what needs looked at.

Wow, i thought they were worth a decent amount of $.
I can get it for about $2,500. I have/had to many chevelles ,novas,camaros,lookign for soemthign differnt.

2500 is probably pretty fair - again if nothing else sounds like a sound drive line. Plus trucks do great burnouts  :burnout:

Id pay 600.00 take of the tires and rims and scrap the rest, not into chevys hate that body style.  :ack: :puke:

I had one of those pices of Junk , itr was always breaking down & sucked gas like crazy , you would have to pay me to take it away

Brutal ,you guys are brutal lol. As far as sucking gas, dont know how a 350 4spd is a gas eater . If you want a muscle car or soemthing with some pep gas milage shoudlnt be somethign your thinking about  ;D  I guess well see what happens.

Geez these guys are tuff.  If you like the truck that is ALL that matters.  Don't let these guys ruin it for ya.  Personally, I think you could be saving a Mopar with that money though (lol, had to join in with some brutallity).   :tongue:

Only way i'd get it is if i knew i could make a profit...noway would i buy to keep......buy it put some money into for a nice paint job turn around sell it for a profit...other wise i'd dump 2500 into some thing else..
