WOW!
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I went to the Barrett Jackson auction on Thursday and Ford has a huge Mustang display.  They had a few 2012 and 2013 Boss 302 mustangs there.  They even had one on a rotissire so you could see the underside.  It was cool because the exhast system is designed to route all the to back through mufflers or our the side under the doors without mufflers.  I looks like this can be done electronically.  These new Boss 302's are very cool.

I think the engineers need to find a way to cram more belts and pulleys on that engine.

I believe Motor Trend and Car & Driver have both done Challenger/Mustang/Challenger comparisons and overall the Mustangs have kicked butt.  Challengers got major props for their retro look, roomy interior, and great over the road manners, but flicking around corners, on & off the throttle and brakes, the Mustangs eat the Mopar up.  That said, for my purposes I'd still buy the Challenger or even better a new Cuda, but I can definitely see why others would go with the Stang.  My wife drove a 69 Mach 1 in high school and is seriously looking at getting a Mustang sometime this year.

The large platform hurts the Challenger in the comparisons. How much does that Ford engine go for?Nice piece of engineering but I`m betting you need to be rich to afford it.

A very nice picture of the Ford engine. Don't get too carried away.  It obviously was highly prepped for the photo with all the enhancing colors and pleasing background with perfect lighting. You can bet there were many retakes before the visual art, designing, and marketing departments signed off on it.  Ford is a master of glitz and are great with marketing. They have trained, cultured and poppy cocked the media. Just look back at some of the stuff they have sold in the past. They can peddle junk and make the buyer happy with it.  Admittedly, they probably are making some of their best vehicles for a long time, maybe since the flat-head era. The new Mustangs are very impressive with a balanced combination of power, styling and performance. They make a big deal about not taking government money but remember that they were almost bankrupt just before the downturn.  To stay solvent they started selling off their European brands and other highly valuable assets and banked the money.  Lucky for them when the downturn happened they had very good cash reserves and would not have qualified for bail out money.  This was not something foreseen, but sometning they stumbled blindly into.  I hope they can maintain their relative independence from the government and continue to "raise the bar but I'll stick with my Mopars.  Sorry guys, but pound for pound the stang kicks a$$. We own a nice charger that is roomy and beautiful, but if there was more room in the garage I would have a base line new 5.0 to beat on!!  for the price and speed these things are awesome. dime-a-dozen but cool

Also, Stang has a convertible, as Camaro.

Ford did not need to take a bail out.
GM and Chrysler had health insurance and pension problems etc.
Friend bought a New Stang small and cheap looking.
GT 500 price in the $60th range.

.
I still like my 94 Trams AM over any new muscle car.

:iagree: The Mustangs have been a nice quick car for cheap money since the `82 Fox body.I had an `83 GT with a 5.0/4 spd that was a fun little car.
