Add on a front swaybar
« on: January 24, 2005 - 01:14:08 PM »
Im looking for some info on adding a front swaybar to my cuda.  I know the LCAs are different but I heard you can buy the tabs and weld them on instead of changing the whole control arm.  Where could I get these and what are the measurements for welding them on?

Also, what diameter front sway bars were optional from the factory?

I'd appreciate any info you can offer.

I don't know if this will help you, but I added front and rear sway bars to my car that I got from Firm Feel.  Their front sway bar tabs bolt throught the LCAs (both front and back plate of the LCAs).  The bar comes with instructions on driling the hole and placement of the tabs.

Thanks for the link Hemidog, I checked that setup out and I will either fabricate the brackets with this diagram (incase anyone else was interested) or weld on the firmfeel brackets, which are a little smaller than stock.
