Not too mention all the marketing that went into the selling of the car leading up to the auction. I would think that there would be money to be made on the car with paid appearances alone? Did you see the guys wife/girlfriend that bought the car? She did not look very happy! If I had an intention to go to BJ and bid on Lee One, and had I won it for such a low price, myself and my wife would have been standing and high five'n each other. I would have loved to put that car in my garage, just the bragging rights alone would have justified the price! Something was weird about the auction, hammer came down way too fast, and the BJ folks did not even build the car up too much when it arrived on stage. Remember all the hype that they put into the Kennedy car last year? I was expecting something along the line like that. Very weird.

i guess the guy was some pro golfer i bet the guy who paid for all of it wishes he left it in the junk yard now.to me they are no differnt then any other lee clone out their .it dint start out new that way, they where all somebodys cars just like ours moure like our drivers, and someone bought them and painted them and so fourth, and put them in the show and tore the hell out of them.who cares who owend them it would be no differnt if i bought one and did the same thing, the car is still the same a pice or steel.and that one only had a 383 i would have rather bought a hemi one lol
