Model cars: rusted wrecks and hydraulics articles....
« on: January 24, 2012 - 07:56:15 AM »
Hi guys, I know some of you are into model cars, if not, you might still appreciate some of these pics.  These are articles I got from Rod Authority.

Rusted wrecks:

And now for something different.... an engineering marvel, IMO!  Hydraulics (pseudo hydraulics) on a model car.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Pic #2 and 3 of my ARII 1/24 scale model car

That was pretty neat. It is really amazing what some guys are coming up with, and can do to plastic.  Was also interesting to see what he is selling those wrecks for.    :thinkerg:    I think I might have to put together some of my dio's. for sale and get some parts money for this spring.

Very neat stuff Super Blue! Have you ever checked out the Joe Dirt car buildup on junkyardjewels.com It's an "ultra realistic 1/18 scale 69 Charger Daytona" They show the build up in a step by step photo format. Very awesome site!
