Any Pics of tire/wheel combos-Challengers
« on: January 24, 2005 - 09:10:20 PM »
Anyone have pics of Challengers with 245/60/15's on all four corners?  Also what wheels do you think look better on 71 Challengers, brushed trim ring Ralleys or Magnum 500's?

If it helps you I have 235/60 15's on all 4 corners. I know 255/60 15's fit real nice on e-body rears.

NZ, the funky wing aside, the 245's look really nice.  :grinyes: Did you get a chance to drive the car with the 245's?  How did the car handle/steer with the 245's up front.  I'm guessing you guys are Ralley fans, but I think the Magnum 500 wheels look great too.  Did Challengers come with Ralleys standard or could you get what ever wheel you wanted?  Thanks.

Thanks only drove it for about a month, got one kill and one burnout in it and that was that. Resto began......
I couldn't honestly tell how it handled because the car wasn't at all in great shape body wise, yes but mechanically it need a GOOD tune.
From what I can tell it handle well for the car it is. May not be the best to have 15x8" all around but it looks sooooo damn good IMO.

Rallyes where the only wheels Chrysler put out with the E-Bodys. Also, some came out with steel rims painted to body color or left black.
I have already got some 15x8" Steel Cop Rims for my Challenger, with dog dish hubcaps.  :D
But I will buy a set of 15x8" Rallyes to make The Vanishing Point car official, if disired.  ;D

Thast the only thing, if I knew I wasn't going to be driving my Challenger up and down the country a lot I would have put different tires at each end but since I am I need a spare that works for any corner.  ;) It's a driver not a pony...... ;D
