I think 5 is a great deal for a R/T S.E wit ha matching motor but if you can get it cheaper more power to you.

Good luck with it :)  Lots of work to be sure but looks like a good project.

I do worry a little about not having a title as that's an additional complication, and of course be sure to check out the frame rails :)

Well he's got the paperwork where a  sheriff has ran the vin. I've had to do it a couple of times before without any issues.

Yeah I've seen plenty of idiots trying to sell  vin plates and titles on ebay  and craigslist. Imo they should be able to face charges for that bs.

I saw that project last week and the price was right, but when I saw no title I backed off.  I've heard of guys losing "their" cars because they bought it without a title and then "got" a title later.  Still didn't mater, the original owner still owns it and they got it back.  Even if you restore it.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Dont think that could happen in Indiana. You have a police officer run it and sign papers that its not stolen. Once he does and it comes back clean the previous owner would of had to reported it stolen if they wanted it back and it would of had to been done b4 the date of the officers paperwork. You use that paperwork to get a title I've done it a couple times.

But you gotta ask yourself...why doesn't he just get the title. He could sell it for alot
more if HE got the title first.  :clueless:
If I cant fix it, it's broke

I just found this car yesterday on craigslist. The owner hasn't responded to my calls yet... Does anyone know if it is still available??

Also has anyone looked at this project in person?? If the owner gets back to me I will be driving 4 hours to look at it and most likely buy it.
