My oldest daughter has had 2 Hyundai tiburon's the first one is 2000 model and has loved to go thru wheel bearings over the years. Since 2005 I have replaced every wheel bearing on the car twice and one of them 3 times. An the overdrive has had problems for the past 5 yrs, as long as you don't use overdrive its ok , also has had crank sensor issue twice and now the rack pinion is shot,, but is still being driven by my youngest daughter now at 180,000 so it been ok in a ways but still pricey parts for repair's..
My oldest now has a 2010 model although she loves it it has had trouble starting if low on fuel , also the tranny started slipping when first taking off and has had a wheel bearing replaced and a few other smaller issues and only has 25,000 miles on it,,so everything is still under warranty but I don't like it and when warranty is out, then the parts are high on these cars,,so my opinion is very low on these as dad is the one that has to fix them when warranty is done . Alot of people like them but I give a thumbs down as they haven't impressed me personally .
The 2010 shouldn't have had these problems so quick , but could just be the lemon that sometimes is out there.
So that's my experiences with the Hyundai
