I use Mickey Thompson ET Street. Look good and work well. They don't last long though but with around 700hp, I can't get decent traction without them.

For the strip, the M/T drag radials work extremely well.  They wear faster than the Nittos, and are not as good on the street if it rains, but, for the strip, I have not seen any that can claim to work better, if not as well.

YUP - Mickey Thompson ET street. I get 30-40 passes on mine and I fry em good at 14.5psi to get them to hook good. And yes they suck in the rain - be very careful  :o

The Nitto's are a very good looking tire and look very capable as well - I may also give them a try in the future although they seem to be very limited in size ranges for the 15" wheels.

MT drag radials on my cuda. As far as drag radials go here is the good and the bad.

Good..  great traction, ride like a regular tire on the street.

bad..  no traction in the rain, heavier than a slick so rotational weight is higher = slightly slower ETs. , short tire life

Bottom line, if you want a tire and only one tire so you are not swapping on and off slicks.  Drive to the track let the air out race and pump them back up for the ride home.  Drag radials are the way to go.
