rear view mirror?

ok people i finally got my rearview mirror.need to know how long screws are and are they corse or fine thread.there is 3 screws are the outer ones shorter then the center?now how do i figure were the holes are,bought the car and it has a new headliner in it.i just dont want to start poking holes will the mirror have a notch to sit in?thanks guys  god bless  dave

The screws are fairly large diameter.  I can look in my fastener guide later tonight if knowone else has the exact answer.  I believe all three of mine were the same length.  You should be able to feel the holes through the headliner.

OK, the fastener guide says the two outer screws are #10-15 x .72"  chrome
The middle screw is #10-15 x 1.30" chrome

The metal headliner trim is attached with #8 screws so the mirror uses larger screws.
