looking for rear brakes
« on: January 27, 2012 - 03:01:28 PM »
Does any body have a good source for 10 in rear drum brakes? I need everything all I have is backing plates.  A list part numbers or actual kit would help greatly.

You can still get everything from a local parts store.  Advanced Auto has really nice pictures of everything online.

You'll need...

shoes
wheel cylinders and cylinder pins(don't know what you call them)
spring kit
self adjusters
adjuster cables
parking brake bar/spring

Also get some anti-seaze to lube the contact spots on the backing plates.
