Hi all!
As some of you know I'm into stock car racing......the real kind not Nascar so much anymore. I like "STOCK" cars not what Nascar has become. Anyhow my buddy Darcy ( also a member on here, came to Carlisle last year with me) bought this Cuda that was already made into a stock car years ago. ( so no crying!
)
It is very close to a Chrysler Kit car . It had a few bumps and brusies on it from years of "service" so Darcy has decided to rebuild it. One frame rail had been repaired a few times so we decided to just cut it all off at the firewall and start with a new front clip. It reuses the stock k-frame and upper control arm/shock towers and the rest 2X3 square tubing. Front spindles are 73 C-Body ( Thanks again Bigs! This is where the second set went
) Darcy is planning on a new Challenger body for it. It should give those Chevy's a run for the money! It is compeating in the Street Stock division. By now it should have a 9" Ford floater installed too. Sorry Mopar diehards but there just isen't the gear ratio's available for circle track racing like what's available for the Ford 9" Using 73 up B-Body LCA's
Here are a few pictures......
