Good to see your gionna stix to it!! Just bring a really fat wallet!! If your married never tell the ol' lady how much parts cost. Most of the time you can find the parts that you'll need from dave at Roseville moparts, Herbs parts, Year one, Classic industries, Accurate exhaust, Brewers or Passion performance ,( if your gonna go with a Pistola gripper row stick). I have bought many parts from all of them and never was dissapointed. If yah need refurbished origional brake parts I highly recommend you give Wayne Brown a call or visit his website at the ramman.com.  Also affordable period correct crate motors are sometime avail from Chris Kane at soledad performance online.

Welcome to the site!  Best of luck with your restoration project & though it may seem like an overwhelming task at first, it shouldn't be too bad once you figure out an exact game plan & break the resto. down into each specific area...Concentrate on one area at a time & remember to bag & tag everything that comes off it & it'll be 10x easier when it comes time to put everything back together again. :grinyes:

Thanks for the websites Grancuda1970, I will be looking into them. As far as the wife, she has been around car shows since she was a baby and knows how much they cost, so im good there  :smokin:

There is already a large shef in my garage set up just for the parts that I will be taking off of the car so baggin and taggin and most likely a picture of where it was before I took it out will be there with all of the parts.

The car should be in my garage this weekend where I can get it all cleaned up and get a real good idea of what will need to be done.  :working:

Im very excited about working on it, and have been for years, I have known I was going to get it at some point, I just didnt have the money to start something like this until now  :) I just wish I knew before hand how he was storing it (or complete lack thereof) or I would have rented a storage space for it. But oh well, I am just raring to go.

oh... I bet you will never get it back on the road....  :grinno:
LOL I take your bet  :2thumbs:

the original color was gold with green interior, I dont have the car here yet so I can't get the info off of the fender tag at the moment. if its still there.

edit. I am going to change the colors, I know its sacrilege, But I cant stand the colors.

Welcome to the site and on scoring a '70 GranCuda!  Your reply about changing the colors made me laugh out loud!  :smilielol:  Post some more pictures when you get 'em.

The Barracuda is home!! its up on jacks in the garage  :ylsuper: The fender tag was still there, but since it is dark out the flash made it unreadable. but it is as follows for those that are interested and might be able to tell me what it means  :)

Thanks for the fix. Ya, the colors are definitely going to change. I am thinking of back/white interior and plum crazy with a black or dark blue undercoat.  But before that can start, gotta order the new metal and start cutting out the floor pans/trunk pan

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
