70 or 71 Cuda?
« on: January 25, 2005 - 09:00:15 PM »
I have to know the answer to this.  Personally I like all of the years.  I don't mean to offend any owners of later model Cudas, but the 70 and 71 cars seem to be more popular in general, and their price reflects it.  I've always thought I knew which of these two years was more popular, but I want to poll you guys (the experts)   ;D   Even if neither year is your favorite vote for whichever one you like better.

Tough call, I like the 70 but I'm going along the lines of 360, the 71 is a little to bizzy for my tastes, still bad though.  ;)

Seconded.

Of those 2, I'd have to say 71.  Love the headlights, the grill, the gilled fenders.  Totaly unique.

The '71 for me, & the '70 AAR would be my next choice. I'm nowhere near being an expert, & have only had mine since last June. First E-Body for me, but I had a '68 Barracuda ragtop & a '67 fastback parts car. I've had a lot of '68 to '70 B-Bodies & can't believe it took me this long to snag an E.

a year ago I had a 70 AAR, a 71 with gilled fenders and the 74.
I sold the AAR cause its just to much to worry about all the numbers blah blah blah. didnt feel i could change anything or just have fun in it.
The 74 is just plain fun to customize and abuse cause it aint so valuable. Although they are acually rare by the numbers.

But for me, no doubt the 71 remains my favorite.
with that grill, the gills, bills, wing, shaker its almost sensory overload. Has there ever been a sexier car?
I am having a ball with the 74, but still cant wait to get my 71 finished and on the road (440-6, 4 spd). UMMM

good survey.

really tough chioce but I went with `70,very clean lines but still exudes muscle plus I want an AAR bad!`71 is awesome also, more aggresive looking grill and stands out with the extra gills and billboards.
