These car missions are always fun. By our summer house in upstate NY my dad heard from a neighbor that there were a bunch of old mopars on a hill about a quarter mile down from us. One nite jsut before dark my friends and I decided to go see if it was true. Sure enough it was. We found an oragne 340 70 duster, a 66 or 67 coronet, and a 66 Newport. They looked like they had been sitting for a long time, but they werent all that bad. The guy who put them there put a bunch of plastic tarps under the cars so the moisture wouldnt get to them underneith and an electrical fence around so the cows wouldnt get to them. A few weeks later I ran into the owner of the land who was in his 80s and was selling a 40 something willy's that was sunk up to the rockers in mud so I asked him if he had any other stuff he wanted to get rid of and that I was into old mopars. He said no so thats all about I could do because I couldnt say I saw the mopars because I wouldnt want to be accused of tresspassing. It was fun none the less to follow up a lead on some mopars.
