That is a sweet color combo, it even has a rim blow wheel on it, heck, even the steering wheel lock is color coded to the interior.......... :smilielol:

But it would be worth chasing up for sure, just keep hunting him up until he breaks and sells it to you, hen you find who he is of course :2thumbs:

A '70 challenger sitting for years around here would be stolen in a heart beat.... I can't believe that no one has not vandalized this classic.

I really hope that someone will rescue this vanishing point challenger in the making.  Please STM  (save this mopar!)

The hood is chained down.

Since the hood was up a little, could you tell if it was a big block or a small block?

The cable/chain was tight, didn't want to risk touching it or having an alarm go off. You can see in the picture the hood is popped open a bit, someone must have tried to check as well. I think I saw the Certi-card on the console.

No way was I going to try opening the hood. If I had a car on my driveway and came out and saw someone trying to open the hood of my car, taking pictures, etc, I'd have a fit. Even though it's been "untouched" for years, I still respect other peoples property. That's why I took some quick pictures and got out of there. If this car was on a driveway at someones house, pictures would have been from the street. The fact that it's right off the sidewalk of a busy street made it a little easier.

Sometimes I've seen a maroon '67 Chevelle parked on the street in front of this space. I've seen it 3 times when I've went down the street on different days. Another curious person I suspect?

It looks pretty obvious that the guy isn't interested in selling it. I say don't bother the him/her. When you see a For Sale sign in the window then you will know that it's for sale.
I leave one of my cars out occasionally and fortunately no one around here messes with them. Maybe it's because everyone around here knows that I collect mopars and guns.
Here in the south you do not walk up to someone's home and open the hood of their car. The way the law looks at it around here is it's a home invasion and they don't have a problem with you shooting first and asking questions later.

Which is why I asked if you could tell what engine it was. Didn't say to try to lift the hood.

I say keep trying to find the owner. I purchased my '70' Gran Coupe years ago from sitting on the side of a house. Car was not for sale at the time. Car belonged to a buddie of the owner of the house...who was tired of looking at it. Gave me the number of the owner and we worked out the details. Needless to say, $1700 later...............

What a bloody shame. Some people need a smack in the head.

I will say though, it's is undercover and not sitting on wet grass.

Did R/T's actually get that side trim/moulding as an option? looks odd.

Yes, my buddy has a 70 V code that had the side molding. Not any longer though.
