Pleased to meet ya
« on: January 26, 2005 - 07:09:53 PM »
Hi, just joined.
My name is bill, I'm an ex NY'er living in South Florida.
My first new car, as a senior in hs was a 69 firebird.

I smartened up & in 71 I traded it in for a new challenger, blue with a white vinyl top, white inside and a motorized sunroof.

In 1977 I traded in the challenger for a new cordoba, blue starlight metallic with a white top, white inside and a manual sunroof.

Fast foward to 2003 and I get an almost mint 77 doba, blue with a white top.
I had it repainted, put on a new vinyl top, nos wheel whell trim, and a set of coker classic wide whitewalls. These were done to make the car flawless.

Nine months later, I pick up a really beautiful 72 chally, richard petty blue with a black vinyl top and blue int.
I have since had a vintage air cond system put in as well as disk brakes.

I am, at 53, reliving my childhood, lol.

Thanks all for the warm greeting.
My dream car would be a plumb crazy purple, white int, white CONVERT top, 383 r/t.

Aside to Rusty- I feel your pain man, but when you get her done, you'll feel like you are 20 again.
Trust me, a restored mopar is God's natural viagra.

Welcome!  Nice cars.  I especially love that Cordoba!  I'm a fan of the lesser known Mopars. ;D  Oh, and:

 :worthless:

Well, MORE pics, anyway.

Welcome Ole Timer  :worship:

Like Rusty, I'm 52 and trying to restore a rather tired 74 Challenger.  Stick around, lots of nice people here.  And of course, more pics.
