Looking for a decent 70-74 cuda project
« on: February 07, 2012 - 01:21:30 PM »
Well, been awhile since i've posted, but 1st time I was looking for a project, here is where I found it.  I'm looking for a decent project cuda/barracuda 70-74.  I really don't want to go more than $5000.  I've found some on ol' craigslist, but I trust everyone here more than "out there".  Travel is not an issue for me, so let me know what ya got!  My main concern is wanting something complete.  I can fix the rust issues and such.  I just don't want to be trying to find parts.  I'll be watching for replies like a hawk!  I need to spend the $$ before the "boss" changes her mind....lol

Mike,

Good to see you back on here.

Didn't you buy a project a couple of years ago?

Well, I bought the challenger that's in my avatar, but I sold it quite awhile back. Guy made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I now have a 71 340 demon, but I can't get as motivated to work on it as much as a cuda...lol can't take the e-body out of the blood!

I've been around stalking the forum, just haven't been posting. I'll be back at it. And I won't feel like I committed treason once I get another cuda in my hands!

Ok, let's raise my price cap to $7000. Anyone know or have something?

I don't know of any cars like you want around here, but I will keep an eye out for you.

Good luck my friend....    :2thumbs:

Well, was looking for a cuda but made an offer and got a smokin deal on a 74 challenger! Picking it up this weekend. Once I get it, I'll start a thread in the restoration section.  Here's a shot of it.  I'm sure some have already seen it on  :ebay:

Probably won't make Carlisle this year, but hope to have the car done and bring it next year.  I posted some more pics in the restoration section here...
