I DON'T THINK PRO STREET EVER DIED, NO MATTER HOW MUCH THE MAGAZINE GUYS TRIED TO KILL  IT. THEY TOLD US THAT IT WAS IMPRACTICAL, AND OUTDATED. I KNOW HERE IN NEW YORK IT'S AS BIG AS EVER. THE GUYS I KNOW WOULD BUILD MORE PRO STREET CARS IF THEY COULD AFFORD IT. NOW ONLY IF 4-C COULD TELL ME WHERE TO GET 110 OCTANE IN NEW YORK FOR $4 BUCKS A GALLON.IT'S $6.25 HERE. CAN'T GO TOO FAR WITH AN  8-71  BLOWER,STROKED 440,  2 HOLLEY DOMINATORS , AND 4.10 GEARS. BUT WHO CARES!!!!   ;D

i actually like that.   i figure that was due to running the big tires.  unless he wanted to have a sharp S-bend to have it clear them and exit thru stock cutouts

I ALWAYS LIKED THE PRO STREET CARS OVER STOCK APPEARING CARS. SO I HAVE TO ASK THE QUESTION, WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE A PRO STREET CAR OR A  CONVERTIBLE ? IF PRICE WAS NOT AN ISSUE.  WOULD YOU TRADE A CONVERTIBLE FOR THE RIGHT PRO STREET CAR?  :dontknow:

I ask myself that question all the time.
I think i would trade for a 70-71 ragtop but i would have to keep the shaker ;)
