Indy cast aluminum valve covers ( no logo) NIB-for sale
« on: February 12, 2012 - 11:33:38 AM »
I have a pair of Indy plain cast aluminum valve covers NIB never used. They won't clear my T&D roller rocker set up so I went with fabricated aluminum valve covers.

Indy part # 440-V2-8   $169 from Indy.

$150 plus the ride.

I'll try and get some tomorrow they are over at the engine builders.
They look just like this without the logo.

Ok, you are saying they WON"T clear your rockers? I have a set brand new in box also, that I planned to use. Just great. Good luck selling yours. They are nice. Anyone make spacers for them?

I'm using Mopar Stage 6 heads with T&D stand type rockers. I milled off the shaft mount . I'd assume a stock type set up will clear. I shipped the heads down to T&D and they custom built them for my heads. I used longer than stock valves also so that will affect clearances too.

Hey thanks for looking out for me!  But,  for my set up they are too close on the sides, where the pushrod adjuster is. Height is OK

Here are the valve covers I got off e-bay. Notice more clearance were I needed it. Not really crazy about the look of them.... but they fill the hole?

I run the T&D shaft system with those same covers and the rockers clear fine.

Hi Jason!   Ya T&D said with my combo a shaft rocker wouldn't work so I had to go with a stand type sort of like a Jessel set up.
