MSD Pro billet question
« on: February 12, 2012 - 09:41:42 PM »
Hey guys, can I run a MSD pro billet distributer with my chrome Mopar box or do I need to buy a MSD controller?  I have the Indy heads and the mopar distributer is really tight.  I like the idea of the MSD pro billet distributor being longer to clear the heads/valve covers but really don't want to buy a MSD box if I don't have to.

All the dist does is control the advance curve & signal the box to ground the coil , it should work fine with a chrome box

If you get the RTR version you don't need a MSD 6 box.  If you get the cheaper version it states that you must use a msd 6 box with it to work.
