That's why I take my wife along, she's my cup holder.  I say, "here, hold my cup".   

Seriously, that's a good idea.  I sure do miss having a place for a coffee cup, especially approaching the toll booths.

I just use a generic plastic double cup holder I bought at autozone.
It has a large flange underneath that fits great between the passenger seat and the center console.

I went with the exact same set up too. Works good even with a passenger in the seat.
Great because you can just take it out at shows.
