Nothing wrong with it. It's about twice the maximum size, so when loading a page it'll load and full size and then the software resizes it. Take a second or two. The smaller avatar will eliminate the lag and make it easier to read a thread, since the target message won't be jumping around the page while that avatar is resizing.

thanks, but i am not really worried about selling the car, it should sell itself.i have already been offered alot of money for it but wont sell it till everything i am going to do is done. when i see 72-74 cuda/barracudas with 340/auto selling for almost $30 k on ebay i dont think i will have a problem getting that for a 71 with a 440-6 ,4 speed, 4.10 new sheet metal and fresh b5 paint.
thanks chk,but what was wrong with my avatar?
hey all the 72 to 74 cudas on ebay arent selling at 30k or more the sellers are hoping to get that!! it wont happen!!! 71s arent even selling at that high of prices anymore but u have a better chance at 30k with a 71 for sure!! nice car!!!

So that weatherstrip channel is rusty and was reinstalled after paint? Since the front and rear glass don't appear to have ben R&R'ed for paint can you show some close ups of the window channels and trim clip retaining pins? I would think it would be hard to get years of dirt from that sealant and when painted it could cause the paint to lift?

the weatherstrip channel is not rusted ,it was discolored from the old weatherstrip and some type of adhesive that was on there, and the channel is kind of like a galvanized steel and that really doesnt rust but you have a cuda you knew that, right? and there are no issues with the window channels like i said before.the moldings are back on the car so i cant take any close up pictures for you.are you interested in buying or just asking questions? because you can call me with any questions you have if you are interested in buying the car. i am gonna post a few new pictures this week and its going on moparts, ebay, craigslist and here on c/c sometime this week. was just out driving it today and it is running great.

In this area of the country I've never seen them rust, but remember that the metal under the plating isn't stainless so after 40 or so years corrosion is possible.  Yup I have a Cuda and I've seen the factory glue and it had a light yellow appearance and was not all over the entire molding track.

You seemed to take offense to the questions, sorry. This picture comparison should help clear up any confusion

no confusion on my part.this one had adhesive all over and it wasnt done by me and dont think it was done from the factory.i striped most of it off but it left a brownish color but i figured it was going to be covered by the weatherstrip so i wasnt worried about it.i didnt take offence to your questions as i would talk to any potential buyer as long as they wanted but when people ask questions or want specific pictures (picture collectors)that have no intention of buying the car it gets old. i am not saying you are doing that so thats why i told you to feel free to call me if you wanted and i will answer any questions you might have. thanks

thanks brandon. :2thumbs: your car looks nice to me, i used to have a white 71 barracuda vert with white top/black interior all/power. thats the only car  out of about 16 (all cudas) i regret selling. i know 71s are awesome but i always had 70s and i have enough extra 70 parts to build 3 cars and i was just getting ready to start on my other car before the 71 came my way and the only reason i bought it was because a friend had owned it 20 years earlier and wanted to get it away from the guys who had it. i wasnt sure what i was going to do with it and had no plans on selling it and was considering selling the other car but like i said i am a 70 guy.

here are a couple of new pictures of the car. as i said it is getting listed on moparts, ebay, craigslist, and locally .best way to get me is to call 845 519 6072. i will definately get and respond to phone calls alot sooner then pm or emails, so if you are "really" interested calling is best.
