Everybody wants small these days and that fits the bill.

I remember an old issue of hot rod highlighting that shrinking trend.  Mostly four door malibu's. But there was a shortened station wagon that looked awesome.  The rest looked as goofy as the dart.

Didn't know there was that trend.  Was there a reason o do it?  Wheelies?  Less weight?

Only called it a trend cuz there was like five or six of em in the article haha.  I'm remembering this from thirty years ago reading comics and hot rod (and the occasional dads playboy   so it's a lil fuzzy.   But I do recall a yellow 72 Chevelle monstrosity doing wheelies. I wish I could find more info on line cuz now I'm curious.

Reminds me of the model cars called Zingers.  They were models and there were real versions but not drivable.

Hmmmm...I kinda like the wagon, but something says "break in half" for some reason?
