I have finally arrived newb 72 cuda
« on: February 18, 2012 - 01:16:27 PM »
Hello everybody,
I have been watching this site for a long time and really enjoy threads and everybodys veiws. I don't why it has taken me so long to post but I'M HERE! I have finally just about got my ride worth veiwing and on the road.  Still trying to figure out the photobucket
and I'm sure I'll get it to show all more. I have done a five year resto on this 72' some things just seem to drag on but it has come full circle. When I found the car ... my first thought was it had a life like the dukes of hazard series. Bought it and went at it - not stock
but This car is for me and not a moneymaker type thing. Although I do appreciate the full restoration that are cars deserve
and blown away by some restos that i have seen lately (perfection) Glad to be here and looking foward to sharing and ai do have some
tresures to sell for others to keep rolling
Cudajoy  :newbie: :bananasmi

Hello all,
Somewhat interesting story about car... I was doing some bodywork for another mopar guy and he was looking through the paper for car adds ( the old way ) He said hey there is a barracuda up for sale no price so I called and was the first guy to veiw it. Bought it on the spot original 318 column shift car complete and hardly and rust. Trunk was spotless usual rust in lower rear quarters   very light and just had a hard life. Kinda funny vintage eldelbrock air cleaner, duct tape wiring wrap, beer cans in engine compartment etc. So the guy I bought it from calls a month later telling me his phone wont stop ringing about car and bribes for my address presented themselves. Ha Ha
Anyway decided to go and do my own thing and went to 383/727
all new motor purple cam
eldelbrock rpm- holley hp
trans redone with extras tci converter  shift kit etc  aluminum  drive line
3:55 rear custom axles auburn limited  rear wilwood disks
front viper 03 brake set-up (mancini) tube upper contol arms  hotchkis front and rear sway bars
custom interior but not over the top thing!
Thanks for all input
Cuda Joy

I saw in your other thread you were having some issues with Photobucket.  Maybe this tutorial thread will help:  http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=70049.0
