Anybody try this kit dash-worx sells? be  able to hook up a rallye cluster to a non rallye wiring harness. thxs :feedback:

  • 70 Challenger R/T SE 70 tube Chassis Cuda now sold
the only difference between the two is the added power wire for the tach & clock & the tach feed wire to the coil , the rest of the dash wiring  is the same just the wire lenghts are different for the different positions of the guages & lights

Don't you still need the big plug that goes to the back of the 4 gauge pod, or is that not part of the kit?  I swapped out my non-rallye cluster a few years ago, but I was able to hack up a rallye harness to get what we needed.

So there is no need to purchase a kit , i can make my non-rallye harness  to work with a rallye cluster? thxs neil

yes , you will have to extend a few wires to reach , & add a battery power for the clock & a switched power for the tach & add the tach signal wire  . The oil wire feeds a light on the std dash  but will connect from the guage to the sender & you need a different sender unit .

Neil different oil sender you have a pic? thxs for reply.  im confused on the placing of the wire s on tach  any diaghram you may have pointing to the studs on tach. appreciate the help mickey

You need this oil pressure sending unit for a Rally oil pressure gauge.

 


I don't have any pics of the back of a tach. Darnit!!    :stomp:

2 wires to theback of the tach , blue for power & grey for signal , one is a spade lug the other is a bolt on terminal but which is which ?? :banghead:

Yeah,

  The BIG question.   :grinyes:  Screw it up and your tach is toast.  But I don't have a picture darnit.   :banghead

I think the gray wire for the signal is the spade lug. I'm almost positive...   :22yikes:
