So the father of a buddy of mine bought a Challenger.  I was hanging out with my friend tonight when his dad stopped by.  His fog lamp was out on the driver's side and we were trying to help him replace the bulb - OH MY GOD!!!  It's an 2010 SE with the V6, so there's room in front of the engine, but you can't get anywhere NEAR the fog lamp under the headlamp and air-filter box...  We finally gave up!

Can you guys give me some tips to share with him??

Thanks!

It's definitely from the bottom and it can't be that different from the Chargers.

I know there are at least one, maybe two plastic shields you have to pull to get to them.

I hope this helps.

    :iagree:

I'm not sure if you'll be able to reach behind the fog light by removing just the service tray. The tray in front of it might have to come off too.

And this is UNDERNEATH the car?  We took off the little tray behind the headlights but that was useless...

I know the factory replacements are around $200, and there are "some" aftermarket replacements. The problem is MOPAR ... they don't just sell the bulbs like they used to or like other companies, they sell the entire bracket and assembly. They are nice halogen lamps though. (same ones as the 06-present Chargers)

If it is like the Charger the service manual will recommend removing the front fascia! How stupid is that! Luckily on my wife's SRT-8 Charger there is a hole that I can barely fit my hand through that I use to swap the fog light bulbs out. You may want to head over to challengertalk.com and do a search there. That forum is dedicated to the new Challengers so there should be a thread on this subject over there by now.
