70 Challenger Bumble Bee Stripe

We are working on a FJ5 Lime Challenger RT 383 4spd. The fender tag has a V9Y option. When I looked it up It called for a yellow Bumble Bee stripe.Does anyone know how rare this color this color combo is? Thanks Dave

Mopar did not keep track of color combinations. I currently have 6 in this combo in my registry. If you email the numbers (photos) for the car in question I can tell you if it's already in my registry or whether it would be #7. KGB68 @ aol.com

We don`t plan a high $ restoration,just make it look good an have fun.We have two other Mopars a 70 Cuda and 71 Charger and are happy with how they turned out.My daughter says leve the stripe off. thanks for your replys

I did check my registry and I do not have this car in it, so this is the 7th FJ5/V9Y car known to me. So any pics you can send would be greatly appreciated.

Just as a point of interest Banana (V9Y) bumble bee stripes have been found on Plum Crazy (FC7) and Go Mango (EK2), as well as Sublime (FJ5) cars. There is also a Banana (FY1) car with Banana stripes known.
