Only restriction I see is you should be old enough to drive.  After that, you are good to go.  The modern Challenger is a sweet ride and a surprisingly practical - and fun - daily driver.  Go for it!

It's been my experience when I actually asked one of the younger guys at a car show what he thought of the new Challenger, how much it costs, and owners of said cars. This is what he said...

If your still in HS and own an SRT Challenger....Your parents are a rich douchebags that bought it for you...
If your middle-aged, and own an SRT Challenger....You are STILL looked at as a rich Douchebag trying to be young again.....
If your an old ass person, too old to even get out of that SRT, then you really are a rich douchebag trying to be young again...

Like Corvettes, there's no real good way to own one in certain people's eyes.

So pretty much what your saying is anybody with a new challenger is a rich douchebag? I respectfully believe that anyone who believes that is actually the douchebag themselves. They're simply jealous and need to get their head out there ass!! Sounds like the kid you talked to is a douche himself

I heard similar things back in the day when I was in high school. One guy I knew was given a AAR (used) for a graduation present by his folks. Everyone said he was a rich douche too. My opinion, he may have been a rich douche (I didn't know his that well) but he still had a great car.

Your only as old as you feel i got my Cuda in 2003 when i was 33 and i will never part with it.My husband says seiing a nice looking gal driving a musclecar is sexy. You dont see alot of women driving musclecars they mostly use cars for transportation and he says you find a gal that like's cars as we do on here dont let her go because us gals that like the musclecars are few and far between.I love pulling into cruise nights and shows and hear the men say wow there is a chick driving that Cuda and when they come over and say that belong to your husband i told them hell no this is my baby.

If you wait .... you will regret it.   I woulda, shoulda, coulda ..... then its too late.    Who cares what others think?.   If you live by that rule, you would never do anything that seems out of the ordinary when trying to justify.   If it will make you happy, enjoy it.

Ask her what color she likes and start going through the options list.    How much fun is that ......??

Cheers .... CHAPS
