Judging by Barrettjackson Scottsdale prices have fallen.
AAR's sold for more.
A 440 6 pack is still top sellers. I'd trade my AAR for a original 440 6pac

Wow, interesting that 440 cars are selling higher than T/A cars.  Although they are small blocks, would have thought being more exclusive would drive the prices up on the T/A cars...

Condition of the cars matters a LOT in the selling price.  That cheap T/A has a lot wrong with it.

Can't judge all cars from one sell of one proper or improperly restored car.  That being said, price across the board are down.  Good time to buy for sure.  All things being the same, I would take a T/A over a 440 Six Pack.

UPDATE:
Just pulled the trigger on two other cars... both convertible letter cars.

Regarding the TA that prompted my original post, here's the link to the car for anyone that might be interested. As stated earlier in this thread, the engine is a TA 340/6 pack but it isn't numbers matching to the car. The lower lip is missing and, by the seller's own candid admission (which I appreciated), the driver's mirror and rear spoiler need to be repainted matte vs. glossy. Without further ado on the link:

Weird, the air cleaner says X40 Six Barrel, isn't this the plymouth designation?  Doesn't say "Six Pack" on the air cleaner.  Wonder if it actually read 440 Six Barrel...

The rear spoiler looks mounted too high.  Too much gap between the spoiler and moulding. 

Also, there is no antenna on the car, which is ok I guess, since I think I heard Barry say there were some radio delete Challenger T/A cars, I think.

Also weird that the seat belts are blue.  Right side of dash has provision for something ( maybe rear defrost?) but no switch.

Makes me wonder if this was really a T/A...

Ya, when I looked at the photos there were a LOT of things that were standing out to me as "odd".  It would be a car I would have to see in person before I bought it.  If it's a real T/A it might be a nice project if the price is right.... but looking at the "splash & go" paint job and the weird things done I bet there is a lot more going on with that car then meets the eye.
