71 Challenger(with pics)(sold)
« on: February 27, 2012 - 07:21:35 AM »

It's not my car but I know the owner. The car is in Puerto Rico. There was some bodywork done on it last year by the same guy that's doing my Cuda now.
I can get more pics of it if anyone wants, or you can contact him.
His name is Max and he speaks English 787-525-3790

It costs about 1000 bucks to ship a car out of Puerto Rico on a roll on roll off ship if that's a worry.
The car is a 340 auto with, I think, 17 inch wheels on it.

I think he's asking 29,000. It's got all original sheet metal and the interior is in good shape. I'm not sure about floors and trunk floor/extensions. I'll be seeing the car this weekend at a show so I can get more pics.

This car is still for sale in Puerto Rico. It's down to 21,000 now.

The same guy still owns it and he still speaks english if anyone is interested. I don't know if it has any documents or fender tags etc.

that's a great price, and shipping from PR shouldn't be that difficult as it's a US commonwealth

I just hit him up on Failbook and he said he sold it last week. There are a couple of 72-74 Challengers for sale down here right now but I don't know anything about them.

Looks like an old Sears or JC Penny unit. When I was a kid working for Sears in the 70s (in Miami) we were installing 10 to 15 units a day. I remember taking a hacksaw to wack off the front of consoles  :scared: on many Stangs, Camaros etc so they would fit in the middle.  :screwy:  But we used York compressors, this car has the Mopar RV2. Maybe a dealer add on.  :dunno:
