Seat release buttons
« on: February 27, 2012 - 09:42:41 PM »
I've got a 72 Challenger with black seat release buttons. I see chrome buttons for sale. Will they interchange? Thanks.

You talking about the knobs on the side that let the seat slide forward and back?

Black was original. I believe the chrome was what was available from dealers later on.

Yes, they are the same and will interchange.

No, I'm talking about the rectangular button on the side of the seat back that you depress in order to lean the seat forward for rear seat access.

I can't help, but you might get more responses if you posted this question in the "Interior and gauges" board.  It generally gets more traffic.
