It also looks like the top section of your rear seat has had the top replaced at some time...... The very top panel was most likely rotten from sun damage and became brittle and cracked, so it would have been removed and replaced, you can see the difference in the pictures you posted.


Yes, sure. I was thinking replacing the lower one would be enough, as only this one is brittle and cracked.

That's why I asked in the 1st post, if it is a 1970 one.  The upper seam is straight on mine from one side to the other. I searched for pictures in the net, but you cannot sure if it is the right model, even if it is a 1970 Challenger. Many have mixed seats.

I don't know, if I only get the lower upholstery alone. From the catalog it only the whole rear in different styles.

That is what i am talking about, your back section of the rear seat has had the top strip replaced to repair it from the looks, everything else about it looks correct as a Challenger rear seat :2thumbs:
