They said column shift but the cameras showed a console shift car. Was it converted, or misrepresented?

There are some sweet rides out there. Its gotta make u wonder just how rich some people are when u can go to an auction and spend 25,000 or more on a single car. How much is there house worth :???: Its hard enough to buy and maintain 1 nice car.

That was an unbelieveable auction ! Saturday's prices were outrageous, after that protype olds sold the whole bidding section was in a bidding frenzie. The thing that struck me was that the 383 Cuda vert that sold for 130,000 brought more than some of the hemi cars. I watched EVERY telivisied hour of the show from Thurday through Sunday and I don't recall a Mopar selling for less than $60,000. But how true of an effect this will have on future selling prices is really questionable? After all, these people bidding would spend a thousand dollars like we may spend ten bucks, if anything I think it will effect the price of parts more than the overall price for the quality cars most of us would purchase. Face it, those people wouldn't even look twice at the project cars we see on out board here. They live in "another" world financially speaking, it would be nice to believe however that at least some of them are down to earth Mopar people at heart.

$ are diffrent around U.S.    I live in a small town north of new york city   20 years ago avarage income
was 45,000 yr.   now its 200,000 yr most people that grew up here couldn't afford to stay unless they
owned a business and or land.  A one bedroom apt. in n.y.c. can rent for 50,000 a yr.   Alot of people make
stupid amounts of money because they sit in front of a computer all day. Thank God,  they pay me more than a plumber or elec. to manage their properties. Guys in the construction biz around here are as wealthy, I'll post pics of a const. guy 15 mins. from me that has 5 mint #s cudas incl. 2 AARs.  theres a boyd coddington car in town that the
guy keeps in a barn with no cover .
