Not sure how I feel about this, looks like it had potential but was ruined with the sound system. I have never seen a targa top 'cuda.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

It was the cover car for one of the mopar mags a year or two ago. I think it was a cool idea but I don't really care for it that much. Its just not my style I guess.. :2cents:

And another perfectly good Barracuda dies to "pimp my ride".  Very sad.  Why can't people stick to doing this kind of stuff to their honda civics?

It's not my thing but a lot of people seem to like it.  If I saw this car on the street, I would probably just smile and walk away.

To each their own I guess.

So the suspension is air bags ....all held up on the shock towers...ya right? :screwy:
Just a 1:1 die cast you couldn't drive that anywhere. Wheels would rub the fenders etc....
Waste of a good car IMO.

Not quite my cup of tea but I could imagine it to be pretty cool to cruise in with the targa top.  I wonder if there is a section to put in to make a full roof?  I knew a guy who did targa tops to a 80's Maibu wagon and a late 70's T-bird.  Thought it was pretty neat.

I think the targa top ruins the lines of the car not to metion the bad color(or lack thereof) combo, wheels way too big etc...   :puke:   :2cents:
I do remeber seeing some cudas and other cars with t-roofs added back in the `80`s and actually didn`t look too bad.

Except for the green and the painted dash cap, I like it. I have seen way worst done to a car. I can see what looks to be latches in the middle of the front and rear roof so that means there must be a center section that can be put in and will look like a normal hardtop. It's nice to something different.

I don't want to sound like I am getting up on a soap box here but bear with me for a second.

I hate to see this done to cars and I will tell you why.  This car has been modified base one someones opinion.  His opinion.  If he wants to sell this car, he will have to sell his opinion of what the car should look like.  This is a much smaller group to sell to.  I don't mind a little mod here and there and I am far from a purest.  It is the radical car overhauls that turn me off.

OK, resale aside.

It can be argued that it is his car, do what you want to it.  This is what I say to that.

He just, in effect, took one more car out of the mix for the rest of us.  Sure it makes all of our cars just a little bit more valueable, but it also makes it harder for new folks to get into the hobby.

With as much as he left origianl, he probably could have made this whole car out of fiberglass just as easily and it would have been worth just as much.

By the way, I am not talking about the one-offs and customs done in the 1970s.  This isn't the 70s anymore and you can't still just order one of these anymore.

I know a lot of this has been obvious and over stated.

Just my 2 cents.  Flame away...
