Brad, I throw an annual Woodward dream cruise party the Thursday before the cruise. I ve a car show in my back yard, live DJ, some really cool cars, at least 3 challengers, most of the rest is really random. We have had up to 18 cars in the back, but not at one time. Big, good friendly crowd, good food, and great beer/wine.
Consider yourself invited.
Anyway, that week is pretty awesome to cruise. I have heard people come in Wednesday, and leave Saturday, and have a blast, hanging, cruising and walking.
If anyone ever breaks down, people usually drop our of the sky to help get the car back on the road.

Think I've only missed one year since the beginning.  It helps living so close, maybe ten miles. Plus I go about at three days prior which are also great days for cruising
