Love that color but definitely needs some stripes.  What is he considering?  Love the sunroof too!!!  Wish mine had one!

Is there some way of getting rid of all that plastic in the engine compartment so you can actually see something mechanical?   :dunno:
The engine compartment on new cars looks like something designed by an art student, not a bad thing I suppose, but c'mon it is a car, lets see car stuff! :working:

Beautiful car BTW!

It is 2012 and he leased it for $375 a month for 3 years at 10K per year.  He has an option to buy at the end and he got an employee discount on that price.
I would be in big trouble with that deal.  I have 10,000 miles on mine in only 7 months.  I did not even take any long trips yet.

Only problem is, modern engines aren't NEARLY as cool looking - unless you're getting something in the "north-of-$70K" price range...  Modern engines are all about light-weight materials: air-intake plenums and valve covers often made of plastic, parts-bin hoses and wires, all black...  Hell there aren't even distributor caps anymore to be replaced with flashy orange, red or blue aftermarket parts.

I mean it's this:

compared to THIS:

There is of course one exception, in MY humble opinion....  :)

Personally I think the 5.7 is a rather bla looking motor. The 6.1 has a much nicer intake.
