Thanks for all the compliments and leads on the horn cap, I'll start checking into those.  I bought the car about six months ago and so far it has been amazing.  Completely different world from modern MOPARs (obviously), but a helluva lotta fun.  With the winter weather staying away, I think I've put more miles on it in the last six months than the last owner put on it in seven years! Only big issue I've had with it so far has been the steering, it's amazingly loose.  Getting the front end bushings replaced on it now, so I'm hoping that does the trick.  Here are a few more pics. More pics to come down the road I'm sure.  Thanks again, and if anyone has any more info on that horn cap please let me know.

Welcome and congrats on your catch. Your chally sure is a looker! Were you able to also keep the modern new one also? Those blue ones are by far my favorite. As for the loose steering, you gotta remember you are working the wheels through a 40 yr old steering box and not a modern rack&pinion set up. Awesome car and good luck with it.

Welcome to the site and great looking Challenger you have. I have had to have all of my gear boxes rebuilt to get them tight. Steer & Gear out of Columbus, Ohio did mine but Firm Feel also has done many for people here on cc.com.

I actually traded in the B5 Blue about a year before I bought the current Challenger.  When I purchased the B5, it was the first year of the R/T Classic and was supposed to be the only year of with that color on the Classic models. Next thing you know, Chrysler goes bankrupt and instead of roughly 300 of them, there were more like 3000! It happens I guess.
