Well here you go.  This is me in 1986.  The first picture is my 'Cuda just after I brought here home for the very first time, blue paint and all.

The second picture is just after I painted her the silver/gray.  I can't believe I was wearing the same shirt in both pictures.  LOL  I must have really liked that shirt.

This is a link to what she looks like now...

Love that trophy, Best In Show at Westminster doesn't get something that nice! Where was the show, what class did you win? The matching shirts was brilliant, they look great! At future shows why not sell some to the public? Question on the wheels, did you chrome the originals? I can't tell... What do you put on the tires for that wet look that doesn't eat the rubber? Love the early photo's too, handsome young lad with the cool car, you must have had girls stuck to you like freckles. That's a lucky car to be so loved, good for you both!

Thanks, A buddy of mine photoshopped that picture over my actual trophy.  I was in the 48th annual Darryl Starbird show in Tulsa Oklahoma.  There where 1100 cars in the show.  I got one of the awards for top five in my class: Factory Performance Mopar.

In order to sell the shirts, I would have to talk my mother into mass producing them.  I will admit that the shirts where my idea, but other than that, my mother made the magic.  I gave her a verbal idea, a really poor napkin drawing and a couple of photos of my billboards and in about a week, they where made.

The wheels are "Wheel Vintiques 56 Series Chrysler Rallye Silver Wheels".  They are an aftermarket wheel that is powder coated silver with a polished stainless steal outer ring.  The 1971-1974 should have a brushed look to the ring but I really liked the polished look better.  As far as the tire treatment, a friend of mine let me use some of his Westley's.  It worked pretty cool.  It sprays on like a foam, then you walk away.  That's it.  No wiping or dirty towels.  It doesn't run all over the ground or make a mess.  And here is the kicker, my friend claims you can buy it at the dollar store!

Nothing too fancy for me.  68 Dart 4 door.  Slant 6 auto.  2 hours away from home.  Had my parents drive me out to it, and I drove it back on the interstate.  My first Mopar, and first car.

First car was a Mopar. '73 Charger SE with broughm package. Bronze metallic with black roof and parchment interior. Bucket/buddy seat. I took out the buddy seat and put a slapstick and console in it. 400/727/ac/pwr steering and brakes. Yeah, I miss it! lol.

Horses?

I'm sure he meant 360 cubic inch displacement engine and an automatic transmission model A727.
