'73 Cuda...

...ordered it new, 340 / AT...every option except vinyl roof and stripe

...I've written about it here before...worst car I ever owned...mechanical problems from new until I sold it, wrecked numerous times, crushed by a tree and finally drowned in sewage...a few years later I saw what was left of  it creeping down the street, even the glass was rusted :roflsmiley:...a true Christine

My first was my 1971 'Cuda.  It spent a lot of years in storage but I still have her.

I think I have a picture of me when I was in High School with my car.  I have been meaning to scan it.  I will post it when I do.

Mine was a 69 Charger that was sitting behind the wood shed at my parent's friend's place that I always drooled over (not literally)! :lol2: It was his son's former high school car and had been sitting for a very long time. I was only 13-14 when I gathered enough money together to buy it, but it was just too far gone for a kid to fix up nicely (rust-wise)...I let it go for cheap so I could clear another stall in the garage for my newly acquired Challenger when I was around 17.  Supposedly the guy was going to restore it, but I kinda have my doubts that it was anything more than a parts car. :misbehaving:

Ivy Green Black interior is friggin sweet to me!! That's pretty bad if you only make 10000 a yr in 1972.

I love them 69 chargers too, as a matter of fact I am wearing a t-shirt with one on it right now!! They were sexy cars and from what I heard you could drive around with a sixpack of beer by the radiator and would be cold by the time you reached the lake.

Well here you go.  This is me in 1986.  The first picture is my 'Cuda just after I brought her home for the very first time, blue paint and all.

The second picture is just after I painted her the silver/gray.  I can't believe I was wearing the same shirt in both pictures.  LOL  I must have really liked that shirt.

This is a link to what she looks like now...
