"It's not for sale. I plan to restore it". How many times I've heard that!

"It's not for sale. I plan to restore it". How many times I've heard that!

I have to tell you that I said that a lot.  I dragged my car around with me for almost 30 years.  It didn't run for most of that time.  I heard "sure you will" thousands of times.  The passion is still out there for these cars.  Any car can be restored and the older they get, the worse the cars will be to begin with when they finally do get restored.

Now that you mention it I dragged a '67 Lincoln convertible also not running for around 20 years.  Finally sold it but had to get it running first. Another story!  :poopoke:

I'd restore it if it was documented with the original broadcast sheet and fender tag.

Throw a motor and a seat in it and I'd drive it.

No restoration needed.

U know even the way this car is . It still looks like a beautiful piece of art . I Just Wished The  Owner had seen this and save her it is so wrong to  have had this happen to any car . WE CAN ONLY HOPE THAT the owner will never get his hands on another muscle car.  :clueless:
