Just remember Beam, Cudas are not getting cheaper.

Better get one now, than pay lots later.  :outtahere:

I'm in a dilema kinda like beam......... i have my old ford that is already fixed up, but am in love with cuda's (70 and 71) and really liked the one beam was lookin at, but i cant quite push my self to sell the truck because cudas don't come around in my area much (Idaho), and I couldn't afford the insurance on a musclecar....... so i don't know what to do

Beam - on one havd.. low end cudas will continue to appreciate. On the other hand.. wanting a cuda should not stop you from enjoying all else. The truck is very cool I'm sure.

Hey - I have a Cuda, but I still want to buy one of those Hemi Trucks.. someday.. just not now.

If you really want a Cuda, don't stop looking!  :stomp:
I don't know how often I have kicked my butt for not starting to look for one when I was in my teens.  Like everyone is saying, they are getting more scarce (at least the affordable ones).  I would guess that the affordable ones are going endup being cars that need new frame rails along with all the usual quarters and pans that are gone!

Like Kelly said, life is short.  If you don't put yourself in over your head (you don't need the stress) and it makes you happy do it!  I have lived my life that way and luckily have had the pleasure of owning some really fun, nice cars.  I don't regret the fact it stretched me financially at all because I had lots of fun with them.

Go ahead and fix your truck, but personally I wouldn't sink a lot into it.  It will come in handy when you do get the Cuda.  :wasted:

:iagree: After all Beam, you will want a good truck to haul that hemi cuda in that enclosed trailer some day, it's a long haul to Carlisle bro. I think your on the right track, just keep your nose on the scent trail.

Never say never, I've seen 2 in KC last year. Mine came from Newton KS, which makes 3 that I knew about since 2003.

I'm keeping my  :eekbig: eyes out, just so I don't miss a deal.
I'll give you an FYI if I find something.

IF FUNDS ARE LIMITED, I WOULD RATHER HAVE A CUDA NEEDING SOME WORK OVER A FINISHED TRUCK. IF YOU NEEDED TO GET RID OF SOMETHING TO FREE UP CASH, THE CUDA WOULD PROBABLY BE QUICKER TO SELL. THE LAW OF SUPPLY AND DEMAND.

Hey Chargin, thats a nice looking truck.  I have a 64 F100 that I was planning on restoring.  It needs a bed though, and I can't seem to find one.  Did you document the work you did with pictures?  I'd be interested in hearing about the truck.
