Speedo Cable question
« on: March 14, 2012 - 07:32:32 PM »
My speedo doesn't work so I checked over my speedo cable.  Was fine at the tranny.  Unplugged it from the speedo, there was a small ring on the end of it that was broken.  Plugged it back in and kinda wiggled it and the needle did jump a little.  I figure I need a new cable.  Probably looking at getting one from Napa or Advance.  What length do I need, and is there anything special I need to look out for? Appreciate it guys

I bought mine about 5 years ago from the local Dodge dealership. There was talk about defective cables from China or something to avoid at the time. I have a vendors printout somewhere. :clueless:

Check the dealer first , every one I have ordered from the aftermarket has had the wrong ends or length .
