the 1st one is neat but looks like a hatchback with a microwave rear window. The other ones are getting closer.

The 5th picture (B & W one) looks best!   :roflsmiley:

In any case, DO NOT use that crosshair Dodge grille.

I do like the last pictures.
Hopefully they will take the straight line out of the side, just feather it in a little bit.

I do agree with not using the cross hair grill.

That last car looks kind of like the new camaro.

"smaller and lighter" than the current Challenger, with possible a supercharged 6.2 hemi.
Where does the line form? Looks to me like Dodge or Chrysler would be crazy not to produce this.
If I can afford one I will definitely be interested. Hopefully, for those that resale values are important to, such as those who might be in the market soon to sell their classic...I would think all the hoopla over the release can only help drive values for our cars higher.
For those of you hoping to buy a cuda? If youre looking at a car now, I would try to buy it soon.

I guess I'm one of the very few that thinks they should scrap the entire idea. They all look like  :poopoke:  :2cents:

As far as I can tell, all those are done for Allpar. I don't think any of them are from Chrysler, which is another way of saying that officially, they mean nothing.

That said, I kind of like the top one.

a lot of people thought our cars were ugly in the 70s. Heck, 71 cudas didnt sell partly because the styling wasnt liked.
Personally, I hope they build something that competes with and outperforms the mustang and the camaro, and I think something with an AAR tie in would be awesome, which I think the bottom cars obviously do.
A straight line body crease and a strobe stripe would look great. Then they could offer a billboard option with a mid life refresh, throw in some functional fender gills, etc.

Sounds like a concept needs some help! here are a few ideas.  Since the cuda body style was darn near perfect to begin with due to the design genious of Ma Mopar at the time build on it.  Make the car Stealthy think rigid angles , like a f117, or the sleak angles of a Raptor fighter. The FULL QUARTER panels could have the same shape almost to the T as the origional, just Bolden them out with rigid angles.  The rear has to come up a bit at the rear by the rear wheels and exhaust like the origional and would differentiate it from the new challenger design. The new Barracuda must have a little larger but more angled fender spoiler option like the AAr cuda's had. Of course will need the fender gills but they can be more stealthy and shark like but not too big. I agree with Cuda hunter but I think straight Body line fender angle could be a bit more agreesive of a V shape. This car could have the 18 to 20 wheels.  Options , Options , options, I like the new LED headlights set-ups on the new cars is a must on the new barracuda. If there is to be two barracudas the smaller more nimble economy design think V6 based on the 68 to 69 with a sleeker look like the drawing above with the big rear window just make the rear window closeer to the 67 - 69. Add a Body spoiler not a bolt on, base it closer to the Formula S series, and make it FAST!!

Even though I would prefer a closer resemblence to the E Body Barracuda, I don't think the 1st or 3rd pictures are too bad.  The nose on the 2nd isn't bad, just don't like the 'sedan' roofline/windows at all.  Definitely lose the cross hair grille on the 4th picture, yuk.
