Rallye dash value?
« on: March 21, 2012 - 01:48:56 PM »
I have a complete 1972 rallye dash including the wiper and light section to the left. I also have the light bar and a complete wiring harness. How much is this worth? I'm looking to unload it as a set or if it will bring more $, I'll part it out. The gauges are in good shape, but it's missing the voltmeter gauge.

I would try to sell it complete, someone that is doing a conversion will need  everything you have.If you price it fair it will sell, the light bar itself would fetch 125.00 to 150.00.I think you could get  1k to 1200 for it complete.

:iagree:  A lot depends on the condition.  You can get an idea by checking E-Bay also.  There are usually a few for sale there.   Good luck.  :2thumbs:

I wish you had posted a picture of it to help us with the condition.

I would say it's worth at least $1000 too. Do you know if the remaining gauges work?

The gauges in the 4 gauge cluster are available aftermarket, as well as the tach, so I wouldn't part this out.

Out of all the gauge sets on eBay, it's in as good shape as anything out there. I'll take pictures and post them tomorrow. I'd love to get a grand to help with the restoration.

I'd say about $800ish.  The 70 /71's bring more, but a nice 72+ is still a great find.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
