I would say about $5k to $7K, but hard to tell without seeing more of the rust.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Whoops I corrected the top portion but forgot about that, must have placed it in the wrong area.

Because this is a 71 I think it's worth 5-8k maybe 9. But 9k being very to little rust issues of course.

the car is very close to me in canada..im waiting to see if he calls me this week then i can go back and take a closer look at the rust ect.. if you look at the one picture fron the back you can see some stuff under vinyl top on the left.. im guessing the frame would have rust as its been sitting 20+ years.. wheres the best place to check for the frame rust? the good about this car is everything is there he parked it and thats how it sits.. dont think he has the barracuda grille just the cuda one..also has a 340 wedge that goes with it and the original 318 i think?? ( not original in the car)

Hey Guys,

This Gran Coupe has the super rare Premium interior option.
The fender tag has one letter incorrect from the breakdown due to a bit of gunk on the fender tag.
It should read;
P6T7
Trim Grade/Style/Color
P = Premium
6 = Vinyl Bucket Seats
T7 = Chestnut

This interior is very very rare indeed :22yikes: . Would be a great car to save and restore back to factory. :2thumbs:

Any chance you can get a picture of the design in the front and rear seats so we can have a look at the pattern on a super rare Premium Gran Coupe interior for the year 1971 only please. :bigsmile:

Chestnut!   That is freakin awesome!   I don't know how I missed that one when I read the break down!

I have yet to even run into one interior colored part that is chest nut.

I thought red interior parts are hard to find, I can't even imagine finding chestnut parts!

Too cool!   definitely worth saving!

I like how you say that, just funny to me haha.

I knew the interior was rare but didn't think it was that rare, maybe only a handfull were made?

You could always keep the interior and drop in a bigger motor.

I don't have a picture of a chestnut interior.

Anyone reading this have a picture of this?

did you all notice that it is also a very late build (june 9th), AND it is a build for Canada car.  i would say one of the last Gran Coupes built might make it worth saving and restoring as it came from the factory!

Hey Guys,

Firstly chestnut is the same as a tan interior for 1970, except in 71 the interior was not a full Tan/Brown onterior, they used Black interior parts also, black parts were seat backs and consoles where applicable. Red interior is still just as hard to find as Tan/Chestnut.
The interior color is pretty rare, but the thing that makes this interior even rarer is the fact that it is a Premium Gran Coupe interior for 1971, super rare, premium interiors for 1971 Gran Coupes are the rarest interior in any E-body, regardless of the color, color just makes it even more rare.
The original color combo on this car would be fairly strking, the color when new is like a rootbeer color more than a brown, and the chestnut interior would complement it immensely.

That looks like burnt orange.

There are a few others I am unfamiliar with.
Like Russet or Briar.
I would assume those look close to that picture of burnt orange.

I think what it has is the leather version of this interior (in a '71 'Cuda):

The 318 Gran Coupe in question is a P6T7 interior, it is the most expensive interior for a 1971 Gran Coupe and it is the last column on the bottom that shows the example of the Gold interior bucket seats, these seats are made of three different textured vinyls and no leather at all and is still more expensive than a leather interior and is the top of the line for an interior for a 1971 Gran Coupe.
This is only the 4th P6 interior i have seen pictures of, they are very rare.
