Showing a car with a correct license plate is fine..Do you know how hard it would be to get the owners info ?

Every time that I see a new message in this thread I'm hoping it will be good news.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Yep, it takes 7 dollars and a request for info here. You get name and address. All with just a plate #

At least as of about 20 years ago. it was the same in VA. I once had a guy call me screaming at me about having hit his car. Later my insurance company sent me a bill for his damage. I had them check my car, and what saved me was that it was only 3 months old. I later found out that the guy had just picked my car out of several at the mall, jotted down the plate, and VA had given him my name, address, and work and home phone numbers.
