QUOTE' We hold high standards for our vendors, which were not met in this situation,” Bank of America spokeswoman Kelly Sapp said in a statement today.

“After learning of the recent developments in this case, we immediately placed the vendor on probation and will continue to investigate the case as it relates to the subcontractor. We have also requested the vendor validate all direct employees and contractors to ensure up-to-date background checks,” Ms. Sapp said.

Bank of America has placed all work orders for Homestead Field Services, which it did not identify by name, on hold in the meantime and, perhaps best for Mr. Dahrooge, required that they pay for the repairs to his car, which was heavily damaged during the four months it was missing.

Bof A should be held accountable, especially that bank MGR who threw the cars owner out of the bank & refusing to disclose information about a crime THEY WERE INVOLVED IN. Someone on here offered parts however, i would make them VERY EXPENSIVE TO THE THEIVES  who are being made to pay for all damages. I think PUNTITIVE damages also apply here which are a punishment for wrong doing. Sure, B of A is coming around NOW with all the publicity. In 1 of the earlier links, that same company broke into another home that  B of A was responsible for BUT, that house was NOT even being forclosed on. they stole the ladys parrot among other things when she was not home. I bet these guys were just a burglary ring who did a LOUSY job of winterizing homes. I thing all they did was hang the signs in the windows & had no time to do the actual work because they were too busy stealing everything in sight. Those morons really trashed that challenger which should be a capitol crime in itself !

What a crock.

I guess they figured a few weeks in jail was enough.  That's the problem, there is no significant consequence nowadays when you wrong someone else.

Still, I'm very happy they found the car, and it was returned to your friend mostly intact.

That's it?  Probation?  Hope they get some restitution for the damages to the car.

Happens all the time even for more serious offenses.  It's really tough to get put in jail in MA.
Yes I own a 1972 Dodge Challenger Convertible T/A S/E with a 440 Six Pak. Can it get any more wrong?

It should be noted that Bank of America did "settle" with them.

I actually think they were just so tired of this jerk harassing them to no end that they finally gave in  :roflsmiley:

As fast as they could delete them, I..........uh Jon Doe re-posted them with a relentlessness that was on the high side of obsessiveness   :smilielol:
Childish?.....sure
Satisfying?......absolutely
